News from KCChiefs.com:It’s widely speculated that Stanford Routt’s arrival in Kansas City will result in Brandon Carr’s departure as an unrestricted free agent next month.
While the assumption is logical, and could very well become true, Routt’s arrival doesn’t mean the Chiefs are done negotiating with Carr.
Chiefs GM Scott Pioli has maintained a consistent position that the Chiefs would like to re-sign both Carr and fellow unrestricted free agent to-be Dwayne Bowe. When Pioli spoke on Routt’s signing Monday afternoon, he spoke only of increased competition.
“As we have said in the past, [...] Continue Reading…

Scores of complaints against an Australian online florist accused of ruining Valentine’s Day surprises by failing to deliver has prompted co-ordinated action by fair trading bodies.

The company was receiving so many complaints on its Facebook page that [...] Continue Reading…

As I watched the steady flow of red roses arriving on the desks of my co-workers this week, I was reminded that the power of love is easily outdistanced by the power of blooms.
Love and flowers are eternally linked, especially on Valentine’s Day, but while we send bouquets to express our amour, flowers also are delivered when we are ill, when we are sad, when we are celebrating and when we are mourning.
Forget learning Chinese or French; the clearest language is communicated in flower [...] Continue Reading…

Online florist, Ready Flowers bungled its same-day delivery guarantee, causing uproar as Australian consumers took to online forums and social media sites to voice their bitter disappointment.
The flower sales site began Down Under in 2005, but has since expanded to 17 countries. The brand owes its success, at least in part, for its advertised same-day delivery on orders placed before 1pm. However, [...] Continue Reading…
